Romans 6:11-12, Rev 4:4  Everyone’s cross (path to the glory of God) in life is different as well as the calling to each person’s purpose. This was proved when Christ spoke to Peter after his resurrection. Stating to the disciple, “This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.” John 21:19

“The sons of Amram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever. ” 1 Chr 23:13

“And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it,” Matt 26:27

“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16″

Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant. 23 Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. 25 Therefore he is able to save completely[a] those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. 26 Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. 27 Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. 28 For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.
